My name is Laurent Plaisimond, and I am a seasoned professional in the field of education with extensive experience in working with children. I hold the esteemed credential of Board Certified Behavior Analyst and possess a license as a special education teacher for K-8th grade. Over the past decade, I have taught a wide range of subjects to students aged 5 to 14, including reading and tennis.

I’ve worked at a Brookline public school as a paraprofessional while simultaneously pursuing my Master's degree in Moderate Special Education for K-8. In addition to my daytime work, I have also devoted my evenings to mentoring high school students, helping them to develop effective time-management strategies and prioritize their responsibilities.

Aside from teaching students in academics, I help adults develop and maintain volleyball and tennis skills. Teaching adults is a great way to meet and network with different professionals for my Chew Ya Food Podcast and the segment called Learning on the Job.
